In addition artist, Sergio “El Toro” Torres who is known for his realism, will present his “capture the art” painting and prints from Child Advocacy Artist, George E. Through our educators, therapists and community of caring South Florida families we will bring this event to life. The artwork on display will raise funds for the purchase of interactive “situational communication boards” for our special needs students. The boards are meant to help our students organize, access, and maintain information using their visual and audio skills as well as provide a communication outlet for those who are nonverbal communicators.
Check out the Olly Mobile, a treat for all kids and parents!
Let's celebrate those with a unique ability, the importance lies in seeing the “whole picture.”

Miami Conference - Temple Grandin January 2012
The Miami Achievement Team collaborated in bringing Dr. Temple Grandin to speak in Miami for an "Autism & Asperger's Conference." Serving as an inspiration for many M.A.C. friends and families, the event was successful and all very happy to have had the chance to spend time with Dr. Grandin.
The M.A.C. Directors, Administration staff, Teachers and Dr. Temple Grandin.
Director, Ms. Arlene Torres was an instrumental figure in getting the word out to the South Florida community and helping Dr. Grandin during the event.
Dr. Grandin signed books and shared her valuable insights with the M.A.C. teachers and Staff. Mr. Clark ( Miami Martial Arts Instructor) and Dr. Grandin.
